Drury Lane Cafe is located along Tanjong Pagar Road.
"Drury Lane" is probably inspired with the street in London, or perhaps the nursery rhyme "The Muffin Man". It offers a slightly vintage environment but might be a bit warm during the mid-day.
The "White" I had was decent. Maybe my expectation was too high as I got much better coffee back in Chiang Mai.
For Eggs Benedict, Drury Lane's poached eggs were made right. No complaints for the hollandaise but nothing to wow about. For plus points, the Eggs Benedict is more wallet friendly than many other cafes.
Chilli Crab with Kale Pasta is a rendition of a fusion between Singapore and Italian Cuisine. Drury Lane had a generous serving of chilli crab meats.
Drury Lane's rosti has a perfect combination of my favourite ingredients; Truffled Mayo, Avocado, Sunny-side, Mushrooms and of course, Rosti. However, the truffle wasn't strong enough.
Overall, Drury Lane is a good place to chill due to its cozy environment. Food is quite affordable. However, the coffee and food I tried was just decent at best. Hopefully there'll be more improvement if I were to visit again.
