[Kaohsiung] The Tree House Kaohsiung 樹屋旅店

I was in Kaohsiung recently and I opted to stay at The Tree House, after seeing the reviews as well as location.

From Kaohsiung Siaogang Airport, I took Kaohsiung MRT and alighted at Formosa Boulevard (捷運美麗島站). The hotel is also near City Council Station (捷運市議會站) - Orange Line.

The station has become the icon of Kaohsiung as well as ranked one of the most beautiful subway stations in the world.

Hotel lobby looks cosy. As the name of the hotel suggest, the hall has a tree like structure.

Room is small but with nice design. Typical of 3 ~ 4 star rating boutique hotels.

I stayed at the 6th floor and it has a swimming pool. Did try to swim but the water was too cold despite the weather being warm at around 23 degree celcius.

The hotel provides some form of light snacks and coffee for hotel guests.

Breakfast was simple with stir-fried udon, eggs, porridge and nuggets. The star of the breakfast is definitely High Milk (高大鮮乳).

Touring around Kaohsiung is convenient as the hotel is located near the subway stations. What's more, the hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the famous Liouhe Night Market (六合夜市). Service wise was acceptable but nothing to wow about.
