[Hong Kong - North Point] Yue - City Garden Hotel / 粵 - 城市花園

City Garden Hotel, founded by Singaporean tycoon Ng Teng Fong has a One-Star Michelin Restaurant - Yue (粵). I was excited to try this place as it was a Michelin star restaurant.

Located less than 5 minutes walk from Fortress Hill (砲台山) MTR Station, Yue is an authentic Cantonese Restaurant. The setting is simple but elegant.

Sweet corns and fresh crab meat broth is both sweet and savory. It makes a good appetizer.

The fried pork ribs are not oily. 

Not to be missed is their dim sum menus.  

Gold Coast Starlight (亮點) Per person HKD68

The highlight of Yue Restaurant is - Gold Coast Starlight (亮點). It has won Best of the Best Culinary Award by Hong Kong Tourism Board - Gold Award 2011. Aesthetically wise, it definitely is best of the best. 

With so many Michelin starred restaurant in Hong Kong, Yue's food is nice on the whole but not spectacular.  Service was good for Hong Kong's standard.
